Lesotho Cultural Exchange

The long-running educational and cultural exchange between Schull and Lesotho began in 2007 with the help of Irish Aid and the Lesotho Government. Since then Schull CC students have travelled to Lesotho every second year with Basotho students coming to Ireland on alternate years. The college was originally partnered with Emmanuel High School and in recent years has been linked with Holy Names High School.

Dutch Exchange

Every November, students from Schull Community College travel to Holland to represent Ireland as part of Europe Week. Students from all over Europe are involved in the exchange, attending a range of workshops including; European Culture workshop, Intercultural Communication and Understanding Europe.

As well as staying with host families and attending school in Holland, our students also visit historic landmarks and meet members of the European Youth Parliament. Dutch exchange partners visit Ireland later in the year.
