Our two main aims are:
(i) to assist with fundraising in aid of improved facilities for the college and
(ii) to discuss matters raised by our members and, when necessary, to make representations to the Principal on their behalf
Past Fundraising Efforts:
New laptops for upgrade of ICT facilities (2016)
New outdoor benches for students (2014)
Set of Jerseys for school sport teams (2013)
Special Needs resources (2012)
Contribution to School Library (2011)
We also provide assistance when required for college events such as sports days and the annual Christmas concert.
An AGM is held once a year in Oct/Nov to elect a new executive. The parents’ council also hold a ‘meet and greet’ for parents of first years, early in the first term, in order to welcome them to the college and bring in new active members to the association.
