At Schull CC we currently have a junior and a senior boys’ rugby team. In 2018, the U16 Boys’ team claimed an historic first Munster title for the college when they won the Munster Schools Rugby Giles Shield. In 2020 the U19 boys progressed to the semi-final of the O’ Gorman Cup.
Ladies rugby has taken off at the college in recent months with a Munster women’s rugby development officer running a number of sessions and a senior girls’ squad competing in a blitz in Skibbereen earlier this year.
